Sales and Business Development

Acts as a role model for the team by playing an active role on the floor, and supervises the team sales performance to ensure customer satisfaction and that the Loro Piana standards are maintained
Optimizes global sales performance always raising the bar of the customer service standards
Monitors constantly the staff sales performance, implementing specific action plans in cooperation with the Area Manager, in order to improve sales
Is able to analyze general market context and to propose improvement measures accordingly; has sufficient hindsight and knowledge of market trends and competitors to analyze and identify business opportunities/initiatives to improve sales
Team Management
Makes sure that team members are always motivated and engaged
Ensures professional growth and training of the staff, by constantly stimulating their curiosity
Is responsible for the staff Product Knowledge, for its training and all the related activities
Deploys the quantitative target, received from the Area Manager, to the sales staff and defines qualitative objectives, always ensuring they are achieved by analyzing results, verifying monthly activities, making constant touch-base with the staff and setting up yearly appraisal
Is responsible for an efficient staff planning
Delegates and monitors the organization of the day-to-day activities, ensuring a high-quality presentation of the store (product, Visual, etc)
Runs regular morning briefings in order to pass key messages and priorities to the staff
Keeps staff informed at all times regarding Store performance
Client Management and CRM
Maintains excellent customer relationships and ensures high levels of client satisfaction
Drives the team to deliver the highest degree of customer service by playing an active role on the sales floor, coaching the team members and ensuring that they have the proper skills to handle every type of customer service situations
Ensures that the network of external relations is expanded and that relations with traditional partners and prestigious people are maintained in order to promote customer loyalty, especially with Top Clients and VIPs
Operations & Procedures
Always maintains good communication with logistics, operations and other stores
Makes sure that the store surface is correctly covered and monitored in order to prevent possible thefts and losses, liaising with the Area Manager to train the staff to prevent losses
Makes sure that security procedures are correctly applied (management of store keys, procedures connected with the management of the store safe, etc.)
PROFILE
Min. 3 years of experience as a Manager in a luxury boutique
Strong coaching, leadership and team management skills
Strong luxury touch and approach
Alignment with Loro Piana Brand identity
Deep knowledge of the clothing and luxury industry
Deep knowledge of the local market, with an existing network of high-end clients
