We are looking for an engaged and strategic leader to join our team as the vice president of product line seatbelts, based in Autoliv’s industrial hub in Zug, Switzerland together with many leading roles in global functions.Position overview:The vice president of product line seatbelts will be responsible for the global product line business plan end to end. The scope is to develop and secure an efficient value delivery for our industrial operation in tight collaboration with divisions. This includes industrial set-up from footprint to production process and manufacturing standards, operational excellence, total global product cost responsibility during the product life cycle and facilitate cost competitive product offerings for business quotes. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong business acumen and ability to collaborate globally. You will report to the executive vice president operations and be a permanent member of the operations leadership team.Key responsibilities:Business plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive product line business plan that includes strategic targets and initiatives globally. Ensure alignment with the company’s overall strategy and business plan objectives end to end.Industrial set-up: Develop the industrial set-up including footprint to secure an efficient value delivery. Oversee global capacity utilization.Operational excellence: Drive operational excellence through cost deployment by deploying APS, automation and digitalization.Total product cost responsibility: Drive total product cost optimization through strategic initiatives in collaboration with SCM and product management.RFQ coordination: Ensure global alignment and competitiveness by defining the global best-cost approach and incorporate global best practice for future RFQs (Request for Quotation).Benchmarking: Responsible for product cost benchmarking and target setting.Product development: By maintaining full total cost ownership collaborate with global R&D and Product Management to deliver design for cost (DFC) and design for manufacturing (DFM) optimization.Process development: Together with divisional manufacturing engineering and external partners drive process innovation and global process development projects (GPP) for state-of-the-art automation. Develop and deploy product line manufacturing process standards (MPS).Leadership: Lead and inspire a global team of professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Performance monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to track progress and ensure targets are met. Provide regular updates to executive management, including frequent updates to the CEO.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
