Job Title: Life Science Consultant, PMO
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a PMO Manager. The responsibilities of the PMO Manager include managing day-to-day activities in the PMO, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing project managers and collaborating with other department leaders to drive project delivery.
The Project Manager will support the successful on-time delivery of the project bundles. This will be achieved through the management of a well-structured project plan, including the tracking, monitoring and reporting of workstream progress to the Project Lead, managing actions, risks and dependencies.
The role is essential and acts as a "source of truth" for the project information, promoting collaboration between the various project members. The Project Manager will also support the project team with preparing presentations, reports, minutes, scheduling meetings, etc. We see this role as essential for the success of the project.
The PMO Manager Responsibilities
* Manage project management infrastructure to execute, track, and report project activities across several work streams
* Ensures full visibility of project progress and constantly monitors and reports on progress to the Project Lead
* Work with work stream leads to identify the interdependencies between work streams and to ensure these elements are appropriately captured in the overall project plan
* Early escalation of any potential risks so that these risks can be managed effectively maintaining original scope and commitments
* Interface with senior leaders (if needed) to consolidate the required information effectively
* Drive effective communication of project goals, milestones, timelines and status to key internal stakeholders
* Manage clear systems, tools and processes to manage the projects effectively
* Provide appropriate access to key stakeholders on related project content
* Maintain the confidentiality of content where necessary
* Support with the scheduling of project-related meetings
* Support with the onboarding of various vendors supporting the project
* Prepare high-quality presentations to present to key stakeholders
Ideal Background
Education: University degree in business management or any other relevant subject
Languages:
* Fluent in English – written and spoken
* Fluent in French – written and spoken
Experience
* Minimum of Five years experience in the Medical Device Industry
* Must have experience with Pharmaceutical companies (in particular Novartis and J&J)
* Must have experience with Quality and Compliance, Computerized Systems Validation and GxP regulations
* Must have PMO experience
* Familiar with SAP, FICO or SCM Module
* Have been part of SAP implementation project
* Expertise in PowerPoint/Excel/SharePoint is critical
