Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team, with key responsibilities including:
* Piloting Non-Conformance (NC) processes, ensuring timely execution and delegate tasks according to QMS procedures.
* Analyzing and leading Quality Circles with technical expertise on products and manufacturing processes.
* Resolving NC treatments across all sites using 8D, 5-Why, and 6M methodologies.
* Focusing solutions with a balanced cost-risk-benefit perspective.
* Coordinating and handing-over NC-supplier to QA-Supplier teams and related departments.
* Prioritizing NC and related Actions to satisfy clients' contractual requirements.
* Implementing and requesting implementation of NC actions with corresponding evidence.
* Escalating complex issues or blocking points in resolution.
* Following-up NC treatment and driving down to closure.
* Presenting NC resolution during NC closing sessions.
* Supporting Development and Engineering Change projects to anticipate issues.
* Participating in Phase Reviews and Continual Improvement Projects.
Requirements
* Master's degree in Mechanics, Microtechnics, Electrotechnics, Material Science, Physics, or equivalent.
* Deep knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and surface treatments is essential.
* Certified internal auditor is a plus.
* 15+ years of experience in R&D, Quality, or/and Production Engineering.
* Experience in Clients / Certification / Supplier audits is an asset.
* Fluent in English and French, German is a plus.
* Experience in complex problem solving.
* Hands-on problem-solving attitude with cross-department approach.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Team-spirit, autonomous with continual improvement / Lean mindset.
