Job Description: UX Product Designer with Industrial Design experience vacancy for a globally operating Rotkreuz based company in the pharmaceutical sector.
Guiding multiple project teams in matters of industrial design, sustainability, and user experience to ensure a cohesive look and adherence to standards.
Creating innovative concepts using both 2D and 3D design tools and visualizing solutions.
Developing hardware and interaction design concepts in collaboration with Industrial Designer Champions, customers, business representatives, human factors engineers, and development teams.
Supporting the integration of the company’s UX standards and best practices, contributing to the continuous evolution of the design language and brand experience.
Liaising with interaction designers to ensure a seamless user experience across both hardware and software.
Establishing usability evaluations on hardware and software mockups, including the creation of hardware prototypes and ergonomic assessments in conjunction with human factors engineers.
Your experience/knowledge:
5+ years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Designer, with expertise in user and customer experience design, usability, interaction design, and prototyping.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, material technology, industry trends, and sustainability, combined with a skillset for solving complex engineering and manufacturing challenges while adhering to design goals.
Proficient in managing the entire hardware user experience, from unboxing to maintenance, and demonstrating a strategic approach to design execution with a focus on clear and visually appealing design concepts.
Solid expertise in Solidworks, Keyshot, Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, and familiarity with tools like Figma and Lucidspark/Miro.
University degree in Industrial Design or any other relevant field.
Language skills: English – fluent in written and spoken, German would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills, including planning, conducting, moderating, and analyzing workshops.
