IMPORTANCE AND AIM OF THE JOB:
Supports SIG Strategic Planning & Commercial Finance controlling function in actual reporting, budgeting, planning and decision-making processes by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information and recommending actions, as well as providing assistance in project work and ad-hoc analysis.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
Support delivering a strategic business partnering role to support global functions in making data driven decisions.
Support financial resource allocation to new customer projects and SIG product innovation roadmap through e.g., comprehensive business case calculations and evaluations.
Monitor and develop insights on the financial performance of the global functions and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary.
Assist in setting up and improving financial models, processes and reporting for new planning processes and requirements for top management and Board of Directors.
Extract insights from data using SAP BW/4HANA and local databases, provide the results in actionable, simple, and impactful formats to business partners.
Build presentations for key stakeholders, including the Finance Leadership Team, covering deep dives on performance.
Facilitation of automation processes (standardization of reporting, transfer into automated reporting tools).
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Economics with specialization in Finance and/or further education in the area of Controlling or financial planning and analysis.
3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Controlling, Finance.
Good IFRS and accounting knowledge.
SAP (CO / FI modules) and SAP BW/4HANA knowledge is an advantage.
Very good skills in Excel (intermediate level) and Power Point – experience in reporting tools is a plus (e.g. COGNOS and TM1);
Advanced English language skills.
