Diversity of the site
Constellium Valais is composed by 3 sites (Sierre, Chippis & Steg, presence in 3 towns), 3 manufacturing processes (extrusion, rolling and casting) and 2 business units (Aerospace & Transportation and Automotive Structured & Industry).
Communication in two official languages (English and French).
Organisation
The site is operated by A&T but 2 different operational organizations remains for each BUs (A&T and AS&I). Each business unit is accountable for its financial result, health and safety (zero accident), and high quality.
Sales and marketing teams, are under each Business Units leadership.
Finance, IT, Procurement and HR are under Group support functions responsibilities.
Finance
Constellium Valais SA is a Swiss legal entity. Group reporting is done in IFRS.
Primary Purpose
The Controller has a financial function within production factories.
He/She maintains an effective internal control structure ensuring compliance with the company's accounting policies, and provide counselling to Management in driving performance.
He/She is key in the reporting process.
Key Responsibilities
• Management controlling: ensure optimization of working capital and cash-flow generation, provide support with regard to product mix optimization, lead rolling forecast and budget processes, produce analysis to Management to support decision making
• Support on matters of financial accounting and internal control, review analytical accounting, financial statements, costing/pricing variances. Prepares activity-costing for the reporting unit.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing process, and in reporting duties
• Advise and support Operations and Management leaders, acting as a business partner, on a wide variety of business/financial issues to ensure achievement of performance & efficiency targets.
• Develop and maintain accurate standards for costs analysis (material, labor, and overhead costs)
• Analyze, review product pricing, develop alternative scenarios
• Give support on risks management topics including FX and commodities (aluminum, premium, others) with the support of the local risk manager
• Challenge the status-quo, enhance IT solutions & tools
• Assisting in special projects and analysis as needed
Leadership competencies, technical skills requirement
• With a business or finance degree (HEG, HEC or equivalent, Swiss degree Diploma Federal expert in Finance and Controlling)
• Minimum of 5 years of broad financial experience in all aspects of business control.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a prerequisite (such as standard and job costing, understanding manufacturing processes, and the ability to trace the flow of information).
• A first experience in an audit accounting company is an asset.
• Good knowledge of SOX and IFRS
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in French and English. Knowledge of German language is a nice to have.

• Familiarity with IT systems related to financial functions and operational areas (SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
