We are looking for an experienced SAP CAR Consultant to deliver on our retail projects in the UK, Europe, and Nordics.
The successful candidate will take on the role of SAP CAR Specialist within retailsolutions UK & Nordics.
Applicants must have the right to work within the UK as well as the EU; however, they can be based in any location within the UK or EU.
Your Profile
We expect that the candidate has a general understanding of retail business processes realized within SAP Retail as well as experienced 2-3 end-to-end SAP CAR implementation life cycles.
Specifically, the candidate is equipped with the following skills:
1. Must have worked for clients in the retail industry on complex SAP environments.
2. Ability to explain the benefits of SAP CAR and all its leveraging applications, particularly: POS Data Transfer & Audit, Promotion Management, Unified Demand Forecast, Omnichannel Article Availability and Sourcing, Omnichannel Promotion Pricing.
3. Experience in data modeling, particularly in native HANA environments.
4. Trusted Advisor - the candidate must demonstrate capability and willingness to establish themselves as trusted advisors to their clients.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be working alongside other colleagues within implementation projects in the UK and Europe.
The day-to-day tasks will comprise of the following:
1. Planning, preparing, and conducting Design Workshops.
2. Liaising with other team members to maintain and apply coherent, optimized, integrated, and standardized processes.
3. Supporting the entire implementation effort during all project stages, ensuring that in areas of assigned responsibility milestones and related sign-offs are achieved on a timely basis and in accord with the current project plan.
4. Developing functional specifications, reviewing developments and enhancements required within SAP CAR, and testing those.
5. Product Management tasks - Assisting with the development of retailsolutions-specific IP on the SAP CAR platform.
6. Must have excellent client-facing skills and verbal/written English language skills.
7. Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and experience in collaborating cross-teams.
