In this role, the candidate will trade Soybean markets at origins and destinations. They will identify trading opportunities in the global market, support our global assets, and maximize contribution to the Global Trade Profit and Loss (PnL) and market participation.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow and trade cash markets in North America, South America, and the Black Sea;
* Maintain existing and develop new customers, focusing on non-China destinations. The candidate will price according to Cost and Freight (CnF) / Cost, Insurance, and Freight (CIF) for customers and internal DM offices;
* Assist in executing processes for contracts and vessels with the execution team, including nominations, specifications, documentation, and payment;
* Follow futures markets to identify trends and trading opportunities, manage risk, and contribute to maximizing results;
* Monitor supply and demand, participate in discussions with a focus on trade flows forecasts and estimate demand coverage. The candidate will support providing analysis of market data;
* Communicate market developments and coordinate with ADM teams both locally and globally through analysis and supporting the preparation of market reports;
* Monitor and perform logistics controls, coordinating with the execution team, origins, customers, and freight;
* Be responsible for trade contracts, pricing, ETF system input, and long/short positions;
* Perform commercial controls, help prepare and maintain position, PNL controls, and traded statistics.
Required Profile
* Understanding of positions, risk management, cash, and futures markets;
* 3 years of experience trading Agri commodity Cash markets;
* A high degree of numeracy;
* A University degree in economics, business administration, agronomy, or similar field;
* Fluency in English; other languages are a plus;
* Strong communication skills, bringing high energy and commitment, open to challenges and learning;
* Proficiency in MS Office.
