CAA Eleven is UEFA’s exclusive agent, appointed to manage the centralised commercial rights (broadcast, sponsorship, and licensing rights) for the UEFA Nations League, the European Qualifiers, UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, UEFA EURO 2028, and all other UEFA national team competitions. CAA Eleven, based in Nyon, is the Swiss subsidiary of the US-based marketing agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
Purpose of the job
CAA Eleven’s Media unit is responsible for the sale of broadcast rights (Media Sales) and the account management and rights delivery for UEFA broadcast partners (Media Account Management).
As a Media Account Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing relationships with selected broadcasters that have acquired media rights to UEFA National Team Competitions. This position is pivotal in ensuring that UEFA’s broadcast partners deliver the highest-quality broadcasts while adhering to UEFA’s contractual and operational guidelines. You will serve as the primary point of contact for broadcasters, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage rights delivery, compliance, and support the successful implementation of media rights deals. The Media Account Coordinator will also provide support in the coordination of dedicated projects related to the account management of the broadcast partners.
Key responsibilities
Serve as the day-to-day contact for selected UEFA broadcast partners.
Ensure broadcast partners are fully aware of their rights and obligations, providing guidance on rights usage and operational processes.
Monitor and maintain positive relationships with broadcast partners, offering ongoing support to address operational, technical, or compliance issues.
Collaborate with internal teams (media sales, legal, etc.) to ensure smooth rights delivery and compliance with UEFA’s media rights guidelines.
Assist in the coordination of broadcast schedules, transmission plans, and the provision of broadcast tools and resources to broadcast partners.
Provide support for certain projects within the account management team, which could include ticketing, accreditation, and other tasks.
Support broadcast partners during live events and key competitions, providing real-time solutions and assistance, and ensuring they have access to all required resources.
Maintain up-to-date records of all interactions with broadcast partners and track the progress of media rights delivery.
Provide feedback to internal teams to help improve the media rights delivery process and enhance broadcaster satisfaction.
Foster strong working relationships with broadcast partners, acting as a trusted advisor to help them maximize the value of their media rights.
Build strong business relationships with UEFA and other stakeholders.
Candidate’s profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in sports, media, sales or advertising (business school or university degree).
Work experience
Three to five years of experience in media account management, broadcasting, or sports rights management.
Experience in managing broadcasters or clients in a sports environment is a plus.
Competencies
Knowledge of the sports media landscape and a good understanding of global sports rights.
Familiarity with broadcast operations, rights management, and the delivery of media assets.
Understanding of the different refinancing opportunities available to broadcasters, specifically sports broadcasters.
Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills and the ability to monitor compliance with contracts and regulations.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments, especially during live events or major competitions.
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
A passion for sports and an understanding of football, particularly UEFA competitions, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as media management and tracking tools.
Willingness to travel as required, especially during major tournaments or live event broadcasts.
Multicultural awareness and experience, with the ability to adapt and collaborate effectively in diverse cultural environments.
