Job Description
You are passionate about products and thrive on turning technical concepts into tangible solutions, particularly in fast-paced, manufacturing environments. In this role, you will lead the development and industrialization of accessories for power tools – from the initial idea to market launch. Working at the interface of R&D, production, quality and suppliers, you will take full ownership of global, cross-functional projects in a challenging and fast changing environment.
Your main tasks:
* Take over project responsibility for the development of new accessories for power tools (e.g. drill bits).
* Manage international and cross-functional project teams throughout the entire product lifecycle – from concept to series production.
* Align design, materials and manufacturing processes to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions.
* Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, external manufacturers, and global suppliers.
* Ensure project targets related to time, cost, quality, and technical feasibility are achieved.
* Drive continuous improvement of project management methods, tools and technical processes.
* Report project progress to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and structured way.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, materials science, or related fields.
Experience and know-how: At least 3 years of experience in technical project management – ideally in product development or industrialization of physical products (e.g. tools, mechanical components); Good understanding of product design, materials, manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration.
Personality and working style: Independent and structured. You take initiative and responsibility and enjoy working in an international environment, you are solution-driven and skilled at solving problems, with strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and external stakeholders
Languages: Fluent in German and English.
Willingness to travel: Approx. 5%.
