About the team you are joining
We are embarking on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The BORA (meaning “better” in Swahili) project aims at delivering a new ERP solution for IATA that will enable Corporate Services to deliver on their fiduciary responsibilities as well as deliver more value to the business.
The ERP FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Solution Architect plays a key role in managing and optimizing the FP&A processes within an ERP system. This role will report to the IATA ERP Technical Lead.
What your day would be like
1. Design the financial reports and dashboards using the IATA ERP modules.
2. Analyse financial data from all the ERP modules to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
3. Document the processes including Reporting, Master data, and Programs interfaces.
4. Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across all reports.
5. Technical leadership: provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams during the implementation of FP&A solutions.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
7. Conduct thorough testing of FP&A solutions to ensure they meet business needs and perform reliably.
8. Create and maintain detailed documentation of FP&A solutions, including design specifications, configuration settings, and user guides.
9. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for FP&A-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
10. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in ERP and FP&A processes, recommending improvements to existing solutions.
11. Attend the project review meetings and report on progress.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design and optimize business processes.
5. Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide training.
6. Project management: ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
7. Fluency in English is mandatory.
