Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing maintenance operations and ensuring the safety of our rail vehicles. With over 80 years of experience in building trains, we are a leading manufacturer of rail vehicles today.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Management: Taking responsibility for the maintenance management function (ECM 1) in accordance with DVO (EU) 2019/779 and control of the ECM sub-functions.
2. Fleet Performance Analysis: Continuously analysing and monitoring the maintenance performance of the assigned fleets and regularly reporting the results in cooperation with the customer.
3. Sales Support: Supporting sales in the acquisition of further ECM mandates.
4. Policy Development: Jointly developing the maintenance policy, programmes, and processes for our international fleet of multiple units and locomotives.
5. Certification Support: Significantly involved in the success of the certifications by accompanying the Europe-wide ECM and ISO/IRIS audits.
6. Risk Management: Tracking safety-critical events from the railway world and checking their relevance for your own organisation.
7. Collaboration: Regular dialogue with internal and external bodies on ECM and safety topics.
8. Team Support: Supporting the Head of ECM and the ECM II maintenance development function as well as the members of the Stadler Rail Group in the implementation of railway regulations and ECM topics.
Requirements:
1. Education: Degree in engineering or quality/process management or professional experience in maintenance or process management.
2. Experience: Experience in maintenance management systems such as ECM, CAMO EASA are desirable.
3. Skills: Knowledge of quality management, training as an internal or external auditor is an advantage.
4. Personal Qualities: Analytical, conceptual, solution- and service-orientated way of thinking and working.
5. Communication: Rapid grasp of complex issues and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new subject areas.
6. Languages: Business fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus.
7. Travel: Willingness to travel to visit our customers, locations, and fleets at home and abroad.
About the Department:
The Maintenance Engineering & Support department within the Service division consists of around 20 employees in several countries. Organised into 5 sub-teams, these include the Mainline, Light Rail Vehicles, Bogie, Support & ECM teams. The area of activity includes divisional work such as optimisation projects on maintenance regulations, technical support, and exchange of experience with the more than 80 Stadler Service locations and the Stadler manufacturing plants, as well as taking on and advising on ECM (Entity in charge of maintenance) mandates in the area of management and development functions.
