The Account Executive (Acquisition) role involves building client relationships with enterprise businesses in French-speaking Switzerland. Success in this position requires the ability to prospect, develop, and close business while focusing on clients' requirements. The AE must have confidence and negotiation skills to close agreements and support new customers through our onboarding process.

AS AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:
1. Achieve sales quotas by developing a sales strategy in allocated territory with a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
2. Develop marketing plans to drive revenue growth with the marketing team.
3. Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their IT roadmap to drive Snowflake solutions within the marketplace.
4. Prospect qualification and development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
5. Arrange initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
6. Manage the sales process and opportunity closure.
7. Ongoing account management for customer satisfaction and additional revenue streams.
OUR IDEAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE WILL HAVE:
1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. 3+ years of field sales experience preferred with emphasis on data or cloud-related technology.
3. 5+ years' experience focused on generating new business within Enterprise accounts.
4. Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
5. Experience hitting $800k+ ARR quota per year and averaging 8+ face-to-face meetings per week.
6. New business sales focus.
7. Track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
8. Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
9. Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
12. Understanding of the 'bigger picture' and business drivers around IT.
13. Fluent in French and English required.
BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
1. Experience implementing MEDDPICC.
2. Selling software or cloud-based applications to the Enterprise desired.
