Position : EMEA Co-manufacturing Manager Department : End to End EMEA Operations, AN & PETManager : Logistic Director Location : Rolle, Olen, Oss or Amsterdam Position Overview : The primary focus of this role is to manage EMEA Animal Nutrition (AN) and PET co-manufacturers, through proper legal contractual and governing relations to secure supply (OTIF), optimize costs and assure safe conditions. You will be in charge of Co-Manufacturing activities for all AN and PET entities including Feed Additives & Ingredients, Feed, Premix and Minerals. The position has 1 direct report. Key Responsibilities : Secure all contractual and processes governing relations between ADM and the co-manufacturer Ensure that the contracts enforce that service providers operate in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to meet our safety and sustainable objectives Hold responsibility for co-manufacturing budget, track variances and manage risks Secure robust contract with the support of procurement and legal teams and implement SLA’s to strengthen our position with co-manufacturers and build long term partnerships. Ensure compliance with both ADM rules, legislations (safety, SOX, etc.)Ensure compliance with quality, legal, health and safety requirements Conduct or review environmental audits for co-manufacturing activities to ensure processes are as environmentally friendly as possible and takes all initiatives to improve our impact on the planet Ensure co-manufacturers integrate the ADM S&OP process adequately to secure supply & meet OTIF targets Have co-manufacturers follow the ADM rules to properly manage inventory, avoid destruction and financial burden Ensure competitive cost structure and prices (negotiated rates, avoid waste, utilize ADM RM)Continuously monitor and report KPIs, for continuous improvement and cost optimization opportunities Support the logistics team to manage packaging and relabeling operations according to our quality and performance standards (Late Differentiation Project)Ensure all data in our ERP system related to co-manufactured products are created / updated on time, in full. Ensure all IT transactions with our tollers are done on time and according to our quality standards with support of the co-manufacturing supply planner. Anticipate and alert key stakeholders in case of non-compliance with contractual commitments New product introduction with co-manufacturers Management Support growth through identification and implementation of adapted partnership with identified suppliers Develop and implement a “Make Or Buy” analysis to support sourcing decision Conduct market studies to identify new suppliers and develop a robust supplier base Select co-manufacturers; establish and manage RFQ when required Educate stakeholders on selection processes Conduct due diligence to ensure tollers have all required infrastructure to produce, store and deliver products according to ADM standards and help ADM to meet all key operations Lead all agreed co-manufacturing related projects implementation by respecting the budgets, schedules and standards quality of ADM, using the ADM project management tools CI project management Support commercialization of new products and / or capabilities from concept to launch, conducting operations feasibility, and project management follow ups. Excellent attention to details Ability to develop and implement strategic sustainable initiatives, and lead change by engaging people Comfortable in facing paradoxes, gray areas or contradictions with resilience and tenacity Skills & Experiences Relevant master or bachelor degree in Supply chain, Operations, Engineering or other related field of study15 years’ experience working in Co-manufacturing management, or Operations management or manufacturing management or supply chain management. Strategic purchasing is a plus. Good knowledge of food / feed processing industry Advanced Excel user Professional level of English and French required, other European languages are a plus
