The Data Engineering team at Verity aims to deliver maximum business value to clients by storing, organizing, transmitting and processing data collected from drones. We prioritize reliability and scalability, creating robust solutions that enable real-time insights and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
* Design and maintain a data pipeline feeding data from drones to the cloud.
* Develop infrastructure and code (ETLs) to process large datasets and generate business value.
* Proactively enhance the pipeline's future-proofing, scalability, and robustness.
* Create and maintain the pipeline for commissioning cloud infrastructure (IaC, CI/CD).
* Improve our culture, tools, and processes to boost developer satisfaction.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues.
* Enhance visibility and understanding of the data pipeline within the company.
Required Experience :
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field.
* 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
* Excellent knowledge of modern C++ and Python programming languages.
* Strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies (Lambda, SNS, SQS).
* Familiarity with database systems (DocumentDB, RDS).
* Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform.
* Awareness of agile working principles.
