About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Product Development division, as a member of a multidisciplinary team building an API driven technology infrastructure for our cross-media self booking platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and develop our internal developer platform to enhance developer efficiency and productivity.
2. Lead and mentor a small team providing technical guidance and fostering best practices.
3. Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on AWS.
4. Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
5. Develop and maintain infrastructure as Code.
6. Implement and manage observability solutions.
7. Automate developer workflows and improve system reliability.
8. Ensure security best practices and compliance are embedded within infrastructure and applications.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues in cloud environments.
Requirements:
1. Multiple years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or equivalent role.
2. Proven hands-on experience with AWS base services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Cognito, VPC, ELB, ECR, SNS/SQS, Route 53, Lambda, etc.).
3. Solid expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
4. Proficiency in terraform for infrastructure automation.
5. Experience with the ELK stack and Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
6. Familiarity with automation tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Backstage, Crossplane.
7. Clear understanding of networking, web application security, platform engineering, cloud best practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
9. Previous experience leading a small team, or mentoring junior engineers.

Recruitment Process
Our Hiring Process
Preselection
We review our applications on an ongoing basis. To ensure a fast response time, we create a preliminary selection. The decision on advancement or departure from the recruitment process is done by the hiring manager and communicated via mail.
HR Interview
In the first step of getting to know each other, we schedule a call between you and the responsible recruiter. This will either be a virtual or an in-person interview. The goal of this step is getting a first impression of you as a person and your professional capabilities.
Manager Call
This gives you the chance to showcase your technical knowledge and approach and provides us with the opportunity to evaluate your programming skills. For this purpose, you will be given a task or problem to solve using your programming abilities.
On-site Interview
Our on-site interview is all about building a connection and getting to know each other better. You'll have the chance to meet face-to-face with supervisors and team members, gain valuable insights into the position and get a feel for our workplace culture.
Offer & Contract
