We are seeking an organized and proactive Learning and Development Specialist to support the growth and development of our team. This role involves managing our Learning Management System LearnUpon, designing and implementing engaging learning programs, and supporting recruitment and onboarding processes. As a key contributor to the success of our training and performance initiatives, you will play a vital role in creating meaningful learning experiences and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
LMS Management and Optimization
* Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a seamless user experience.
* Upload, organize, and update learning content, ensuring it aligns with current business needs.
* Generate LMS reports to track engagement, completion rates, and program effectiveness.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to users.
Learning Program Development and Delivery
* Collaborate with the Training and Performance Researcher to design and deliver engaging training programs that address skill gaps and align with company goals.
* Support the implementation of innovative learning methods, such as microlearning, gamification, and interactive e-learning.
* Conduct evaluations of learning initiatives to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future programs.
Recruitment and Onboarding Support
* Partner with the HR team to assist in the recruitment process, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and communication.
Operational and Administrative Support
* Maintain accurate records of internal training programs, recruitment activities, and employee progress.
* Assist with tracking budgets and vendor relationships for learning and development initiatives.
Employee Engagement and Communication
* Act as a point of contact for employee learning and development inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning by communicating upcoming training opportunities and encouraging participation.
Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
Experience
* 3–5 years of experience in learning and development, HR, or a related field.
* Hands-on experience with LMS platforms such as LearnUpon and creating or managing digital learning programs with authoring tools such as Easy Generator.
* Exposure to recruitment or onboarding processes is a plus.
* Knowledge of the legal industry or ability to quickly learn.
Skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in using LMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data and generate actionable insights.
Compensation
$10 - $13 hourly
