We’re looking for a self-driven, analytical, forward-thinking individual who can work independently to join our Zurich UGM COO distribution team to support the UGM EMEA Distribution.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Drive day to day BAU activities: business analytics, reporting, problem solving, management support, etc. with the EMEA Sales management team and sales force.
Act as first point of contact to support GWM-aligned Sales force.
Support implementations of the sales and client strategies with each business area/sales team.
Support UGM EMEA Business Head in implementing business strategy and daily operations of the business.
Serve as liaison between lines of business and various support partners, helping to drive accountability across all internal functions.
Seek enhancements in sales and client management processes and Mgmt Info.
Work with Technology to support implementation of front to back systems/improvements and MI, incl. One UBS Revenue reporting, CID management across divisions.
Support preparation of highly qualitative outputs such as presentations and various MI documentation for Senior Management.
Maintain robust operating platform front-to-back incl. ownership of key controls.

Your team
The UGM COO distribution team is a highly strategic and cross-functional team that is responsible for the formulation, implementation, and support of the key WM-aligned Distribution focused initiatives and processes that impact our client’s experience. This is a diverse role spanning across Execution Sales as well as parts of Digital Platforms, covering elements of strategy, analytics, budgeting, performance monitoring, regulatory impact, F2B controls, market structure issues, tech implementation/digitization, and comprehensive understanding of the sales and client business. Members of the team will have broad exposure across the Unified Global Markets business often collaborating and partnering with sales teams, management, support teams, and controls to execute a wide array of initiatives.
Your expertise
Min. 3 years relevant industry experience (Sales, Business Mgmt, COO, and/or consulting experience).
Min. Bachelor degree in Finance or Business Administration.
Ability to work independently on given deliverables, drive the work/implementation forward with limited supervision and deliver preliminary outcomes/analysis for further assessment.
Skilled in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data effectively into presentable format for delivery to senior management.
Partnership approach with a high degree of collaboration across COO team globally.
Self-starter, takes initiative, ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities, and ensure completion of deliverables in a timely fashion.
Very good MS Office skills, PowerPoint, and Excel in particular.
Analytical and comfortable with exposure/presenting to senior management.
Ability to identify, articulate, and escalate issues/risks to your line manager timely.
Understanding of bank/financial services operational processes and product knowledge as a big asset.
