Corporate Communications Manager (M/F/D)
The ideal candidate will support the Rare Disease Corporate Affairs lead with media relations, providing counsel to affiliates and international regions, including partner markets, European Region (EU), and assisting with responding to media inquiries and issues.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive rare disease communication projects and programs to position the client as a leader in rare disease.
* Develop and deliver an integrated corporate affairs strategy to raise the profile of the client's existing rare disease portfolio (FA, SMA, ALS).
* Collaborate on the development of compelling content and engagements needed to implement the corporate affairs strategy.
* Help develop and execute brand communications initiatives, including company milestones, data readouts, and congresses.
* Support the execution of communications initiatives to increase awareness and understanding of the client's rare disease portfolio.
* Provide guidance to affiliates to drive local media engagement and support local outreach.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate and/or marketing communications roles.
* Bachelor's degree required in communications, marketing, journalism, or a degree in liberal arts or life sciences.
* Native English speaker.
* Excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and high sense of urgency.
* Communications agency and healthcare industry experience preferred.
* Ability to understand scientific information and data and communicate it in simple terms to external stakeholders.
