• Define Technical Scope and Transition Plan: Clearly outline the IT systems, infrastructure, or applications involved in the transition, and develop a detailed plan that includes technical milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate Cross-Team Technical Dependencies: Ensure alignment between IT teams (e.g., infrastructure, development, operations, security) on system dependencies, data flows, and technical requirements, resolving conflicts as they arise.
• Engage Technical Stakeholders: Collaborate with key IT stakeholders, such as system architects, engineers, and business analysts, to gather input, validate technical decisions, and ensure their buy-in throughout the project.
• Oversee System Migration and Integration: Manage the technical aspects of the transition, such as migrating systems, integrating new tools, or retiring legacy platforms, while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Monitor and Mitigate Technical Risks: Identify potential IT-related risks (e.g., data loss, downtime, compatibility issues) and implement mitigation strategies, including testing, backups, and contingency plans.
• Drive Execution of Technical Deliverables: Ensure IT teams are meeting dead- lines for tasks such as system configurations, software deployments, and infrastructure setup, while tracking progress against the project plan.
• Ensure Operational Readiness: Coordinate the handover of systems and processes to IT operations teams, ensuring proper documentation, training, and support structures are in place for a seamless transition.
