Your mission
The Monitoring Engineer will support the development and implementation of an End-to-End Monitoring Platform Initiative. This role involves ensuring the stability and security of current monitoring tools and services, focusing on application monitoring and log analytics.
Description of activities:
1. Deploy, configure, and automate new monitoring tools in line with the end-to-end monitoring concept.
2. Develop new functionalities within the monitoring solution to meet stakeholder requirements.
3. Participate in setting up a continuous monitoring framework, including processes and tools.
4. Interface with stakeholders, including end users and business owners, to ensure their requirements are met.
5. Collaborate with various teams, including first-level support and application development teams.
6. Support the monitoring team in running current tools, stabilizing the platform, fixing bugs, and onboarding users.
Your profile
* Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, including roles as a developer and APM engineer.
* Fluent in English, knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
* Proficient in technologies such as Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, ElasticSearch, and other APM solutions.
* Knowledge in programming libraries and frameworks such as NodeJS, ReactJS, ExpressJS, and GOJS.
* Previous experience as a monitor/APM engineer is advantageous.
