Sous-Chef(fe) Role at Hotel Regina
The ideal candidate for this position will be located in the heart of the Jungfrau region, within the renowned village of Wengen, Switzerland. This setting offers a privileged environment among Switzerland's exceptional landscapes, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Chef in coordinating the work of the entire kitchen brigade, including Chez Meyer's Restaurant, Jack's Brasserie, Banquets, and breakfast services.
2. Supervise the pace and quality of work while bringing innovative ideas to ensure the preparation of dishes according to HACCP and Relais & Châteaux standards.
3. Manage goods (freshness, quantity), respecting customer requirements, maintaining cleanliness and order in production and storage areas.
4. Participate in service setup, ensuring smooth operation of the service of quality established by the Chef.
5. Manage purchases, stocks, inventories, and analyze costs (mastery of ratios, technical sheets, explanations of discrepancies).
6. Animate the team, assist in maintaining motivation, and support collaborator development.
7. React appropriately to customer complaints or specific requests.
Requirements:
* 2 years of experience in a similar position.
* Training in hospitality/kitchen required.
* Language skills: German, French, or English.
