Main Duties and Responsibilities
This role as Security & Safety Manager is central to maintaining and ensuring the safety and security of the company's aviation operations across Sweden. Below is a summary of the main duties, responsibilities, qualifications, and skills outlined in the job description. The position is located in Arlanda, covering our units in Gothenburg (GOT) and Malmö (MMX).
Security
Training & Audits: Conduct security training sessions, attend and perform security audits to ensure adherence to security protocols.
Incident Investigations & Risk Management: Lead investigations for security incidents and security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Aviation Security: Ensure compliance with aviation security standards through internal audits, gap analysis, and the development of security plans. Ensure the organization maintains its accreditation as a regulated supplier of in-flight supplies.
Physical Security Measures & Theft Control: Oversee access control, building protection, and CCTV surveillance including theft prevention programs.
Contractor Coordination: Manage and coordinate external security contractors and guard services.
Awareness: Promote security awareness across all levels of the organization.
KPI Reporting: Define, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to security.
Safety & Unit Emergency Preparedness (UEP)
Preparedness Act Compliance: Ensure fire control systems, alarm systems, and evacuation plans comply with regulations and are regularly tested. Develop and test other emergency response plans.
Coordination: Work with managers and authorities on safety and unit emergency preparedness measures.
Ramp Safety programs Support: Ensure quality control measures are in place and followed in coordination with responsible departments.
Incident Investigations & Risk Management: Lead investigations for incidents and safety risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Safety KPI Reporting: Define, measure, and report safety KPIs.
ESG Coordination: Coordination of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program, local and global.
Qualifications
Experience in Security/Safety Management: Prior experience as a Security Manager, Security Consultant, or Safety Manager.
Risk, Crisis, Quality management: Expertise in conducting risk analysis; emergency preparedness crisis and quality programs.
Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
Skills
This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, hands-on operational involvement, and the ability to work across multiple units and locations, making it both complex and essential for the organization's safety and security management.
Aviation Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of aviation security regulations.
Networking & Conflict Management: Skilled in building relationships and managing conflicts.
