What does a Production Quality Engineer do?
In this role, you ensure a flawless quality operation in and for our production department (machine assembly) by using the most modern methods, techniques and tools for quality management in order to achieve our strategic «Operational Excellence» goals and maximum customer satisfaction.
Why do we need you?
Quality Management - Flawless Product Quality from Suppliers and Automation Center Root - Production:
• Planning, requirements, and audit of the quality of internally manufactured products, machines and systems
• Procedures and documentation of process flows, PFMEA’s, test plan, work and control instructions
• Control of the outsourced processes and products (outsourced assemblies and modules)
• Control of non-conforming outputs in the individual process steps and on the end-product
• Control of non-conforming products and corrective actions Suppliers, externally manufactured parts and specification (SCAR)
• Support in the product approval process for new developments, customer-specific machines and their approval
• Management of measuring and testing devices, supporting devices, special tools and testing aids
Quality performance evaluation and quality improvement:
• Monitoring, measuring, analyzing, evaluating, collecting and reporting on the performance indicators
• Continuous improvement of quality management in production, internal audits and management reviews
Secondary task:
• Backup of Customer Quality Engineer during holiday absence
Qualifications
• Dipl. Technician TS/HF
• Further training in quality management and 2-4 years of experience in an industrial quality environment
• Business competence as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Distinct customer, service and quality orientation
• Quick comprehension, networked thinking, proactive action
• Very good German and English skills (oral and written) are essential
• Proximity to manufacturing, production and hands-on mentality
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Tools
