Job Title: Injection Machine Operator

We are seeking an Injection Machine Operator to join our team in Conthey, Switzerland.
This role offers the opportunity to work with injection machines and be involved in international projects while contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and molds.
Your Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain plastic resin for mold tests
* Prepare injection machine before mold test
* Prepare injection mold before test
* Install mold in the injection machine
* Install water, hydraulic, and air circuits
* Start mold test and run protocols to center mold stacks, balance cavities, cycle time, etc.
* Perform mold correction inside the injection machine
* Participate in mold test (FAT) with customers in-house or at customer facility
* Conduct quality control on plastic parts using visual inspection, manual tools, and 3D scan; create quality reports
* Create mold test process report for each test
* Contribute to mold improvement program by reporting suggestions and problems during test
* Perform basic maintenance on injection machines and peripheral equipment
* Maintain a clean and organized injection department
* Organize material and tool inventory
* Support assembly department when not testing molds
* Actively participate in R&D of new products and processes
* Maintain and improve the Injection Department database
Your Profile:
* At least 3 years of recent experience in the injection mold industry
* Proficient in standard software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Ability to communicate in multiple languages is beneficial
* Able to read and interpret drawings and 3D models of molds and products
* Able to use quality control equipment and create quality control reports
* Able to communicate technical aspects of mold concept/design to engineering and sales teams, as well as to customers
* Able to work effectively in a team
* Able to meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards
* Able to work independently and make technical decisions based on internal standards
* Able to travel internationally a few times a year for mold qualification at customer facilities worldwide
