Your Role
As a seasoned software engineer with profound expertise in the Avaloq stack, you will provide your technical guidance to the Trade & Transaction reporting unit within the broader Avaloq Regulatory team. This role involves leveraging your knowledge of Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Task Engine, Report Writer, Object Model, Transactional Model, and Booking Engine to drive innovation and excellence.
Your Responsibilities
* Maintain and enhance existing Trade and Transaction reporting solutions.
* Develop new functionalities or modify existing ones to meet business needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to implement small to medium-sized projects.
* Challenge and re-evaluate existing solutions to ensure architectural excellence.
* Contribute to the broader Avaloq Regulatory team by assisting in other expert areas such as Tax, Compliance, Legal Reporting, and Accounting.
Your Profile
* Holds a degree in Informatics or Computer Science, preferably with a focus on Software Engineering.
* Has completed additional training in Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP).
* Possesses at least 4 years of practical experience in Avaloq development.
* Demonstrates a solid understanding of banking and finance principles.
* Displays strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* May hold an ACCP certification with a Major in Core Technologies (formerly ACP).
* Showcases ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and exhibits a hands-on mentality.
* Demonstrates strong work ethics, integrity, and accountability.
* Is willing to relocate to Basel, Switzerland.
* Fluently speaks English.
