As a Project Manager Corporate Technology you will execute trials in the pilot plants to intensify scientific research, to work on scalable exploration areas, and to develop IP relevant products in collaboration with the local teams. Furthermore, the position supports subsidiaries with new technologies, product transfers, and optimizations along the chocolate manufacturing process.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Support R&D projects and create know-how by conducting trials in the pilot plants in all levels of the chocolate manufacturing process
1. Plan and prepare the trials with customer (internal/external)
2. Conduct the trials with/without customer
3. Evaluate and document the trials for customer
4. Scale-up support in L&S plants if needed
Conduct training in the pilot plants in all levels of the chocolate manufacturing process
5. Plan and prepare the training with customer (internal/external)
6. Conduct the trainings (practical & theoretical part)
Lead, coordinate & support international projects
7. Take the lead for global relevant projects incl. gate papers, timing & execution
8. Help to coordinate projects of the global project list
9. Support local project leaders with technical, process and organizational guidance
Production/Process support
10. Support start-up for new equipment for L&S International and local L&S companies
11. Support trouble shooting for pilot plants incl. show production and local L&S companies for machines and processes
12. Support product, process & technology transfers
Additional
13. Conduct Scientific Research and contribute to Know-how generation
YOUR PROFILE:
14. University degree in food science or related fields
15. Min. 3 years of experience in Technology/Process Engineering and in Chocolate mass production
16. Fluent in German and English, French and Italian is a plus
17. Knowledge of MS Office
18. Travel flexibility (day visits and short-term stays (weeks/months) to support different Lindt & Sprüngli companies worldwide
19. Strong technical knowledge of industrial food processing functions and concepts. Experience in chocolate processing (Bean to Bar) highly beneficial
