Job Description: Founded in 1969, ZIMEX AVIATION, based in Switzerland and holder of a EASA Air Operator Certificate, is active in the field of Special Mission Aviation, with aircraft operations in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, and since 2016 also with a European express freight operation.
Our own EASA Part 145 maintenance Organization assures that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed to the highest quality standards in the field by our own engineers, who form an integral part of our crew.
For our global Line Maintenance Stations, we are looking for a:
Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance activity and troubleshooting in full compliance with specifications of pertinent authorities, manufacturer’s recommendations, and general rules applicable to works performed on aircraft/components, including compliance with all service bulletins, technical information, newsletters, and airworthiness directives.
Comply with directives issued by the Line Maintenance Manager regarding behaviour, order, and security of personnel and line station.
Check availability of the necessary working documents and maintenance manuals.
Verify that all work has been completed, paperwork signed, and technical documents correctly completed prior to delivery of aircraft/components.
Inform the Line Station Manager and CAMO regularly about the current work situation and possible problems, submitting work reports, release to service, and operating hours to the CAMO after each activity and before the next flight.
Report unusual defects and occurrences found during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance in accordance with AMC 20-8 Regulation 2042/2003 into IQSMS.
Maintain a line station independently, organizing storage of the station spare parts, maintaining corresponding stock lists, performing parts inventory, receiving and shipping of parts, and supporting the dispatch and storing of incoming parts.
Maintain material and tools assigned to the line station and aircraft type, tracking of station calibrated tools.
Be responsible for cleanliness and work safety at the assigned line station.
Work independently in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations.
Be deployable as an independent Field Service Engineer / Troubleshooter.
Minimum Requirements: Apprenticeship as a mechanic or similar education.
Additional training as an airplane mechanic B1, B2, or CAT A.
Aircraft Type Ratings for ATR72 / ATR42.
Minimum of 1 year experience on the above-mentioned Aircraft Models.
Approximately 3 years of experience in Base and/or Line Maintenance.
Car driving license.
Capable of obtaining airport access authorization, reliability check.
Multifunctional applicability and commercial thinking.
Independent working and high reliability.
Employment on different types of aircraft/components.
Licensed / Certifying Staff.
Willingness to flexible working hours and travel activities.
Teamwork and integration.
Readiness for shift service in Line Maintenance.
Covid 19 vaccination certificate is required for this position.
