Your main tasks
1. Responsibility for planning and execution of Human Factors Engineering programs according to current standards and guidelines IEC, FDA HFE Guidance, etc.)
2. Planning, coordination and monitoring of formative and summative HF studies (with internal and external researchers)
3. Analysis, interpretation and documentation of findings from HF studies including recommendations for product development (user interface & industrial design)
4. Creation and maintenance of usability engineering files for product approvals in collaboration with the project or product teams
5. Consulting of product and project managers regarding regulatory requirements for Human Factors / Usability Engineering
Your profile
6. Bachelor/Master (FH/Uni) in Human Factors or Psychology or other studies with a focus on Ergonomics/Usability/Human Factors
7. Experience in the application of usability/human factors engineering for medical devices (IEC as well as FDA HFE Guidance)
8. Experience in international submissions in the field of medical devices (EU MDR, FDA, Health Canada, etc.)
