Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to make an impact in the sports industry and thrive in a dynamic team environment as a Head of Accounting to join our Finance Team as soon as possible, on an 80-100% workload.

* Leading and developing a team of 4-5 accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Managing monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial closing and reporting in accordance with IFRS.
* Responsible for IFRS statutory financial audits, ensuring their timely and accurate completion, and preparing documentation while coordinating with auditors.
* Serving as the interface between local Controlling and Group Accounting functions.
* Responsible for preparing statutory financial statements in compliance with Swiss OR.
* Managing GL accounting, including the posting of prepayments and accruals.
* Supporting the team with accounts payable processing as needed.
* Responsible for developing, enhancing, and documenting internal control procedures to ensure the integrity of the accounting function.
* Providing analysis and support for stakeholders, assisting with decision-making processes and engaging in transactional accounting tasks.
* Managing special accounting projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Your Profile
* You have around 5-8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a similar position within an international company.
* You have completed a higher education (University, University of Applied Science) with an advanced degree in accounting (i.e. ACCA, CPA, ACA or similar).
* You bring a strong knowledge in technical accounting with IFRS and OR.
* You provide strong analytical skills, good technical skills in MS-Office (particularly Excel), good knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and reporting systems (i.e., HFM).
* You are highly team-oriented with a collaborative and inclusive leadership approach.
* You are open-minded, independent, proactive with a hands-on mentality and you maintain open communication.
* You are able to stay calm under pressure and capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment.
* Your way of working is precise and detail-oriented, but you are also able to see the big picture.
* You can adapt flexibly to a dynamic environment and you are able to constructively challenge the status quo.
* You are fluent in English, and German is an advantage; any additional languages are always welcome.
