On behalf of our client, a prestigious Wealth Management firm specialised in alternative investment solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master Data Manager / SQL Developer to join our client's IT Data and Application Management team. The role will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining their data reconciliation platform while also supporting the management of the Master Data Management (MDM) system.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the full development lifecycle of the SQL-based data reconciliation platform, from gathering requirements to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
* Design and implement additional integrations to enhance the reconciliation platform.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the central Master Data Management (MDM) system, focusing on integrations with other systems; act as a deputy for the MDM application manager.
* Identify and resolve performance issues to ensure the platform’s scalability.
* Collaborate with application owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand new requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
Requirements
* Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related IT-focused discipline.
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).
* Experience with Master Data Management.
* Proficiency in data reconciliation and integration with databases and file-based systems.
* Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
* Solid understanding of data architecture and data modeling principles.
* Enthusiastic about new technologies with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Strong analytical mindset with a goal-oriented, solution-driven approach.
* Organized and detail-oriented with a structured working style.
* Experience in the financial sector and knowledge of asset management is a plus.
* Effective communication skills in English and German as a strong advantage.
