Overview
We are looking for a Functional Coordinator for our electrical assembly team to provide technical support, further develop the team and develop training content. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Electrical Assembly, take on operational and administrative tasks, and ensure the continuous improvement of assembly processes. You will also coordinate training measures in order to optimally qualify and further develop the team.
Responsibilities
1. Technical management of a team of electricians (8-12 employees) and technical deputy Head Electrical Assembly
2. Actively support employees in the further development and resolution of technical challenges
3. Conducting employee appraisals and dialogues
4. Relieving the Head Electrical Assembly of administrative and operational tasks (e.g. time recording, holiday approval and disciplinary issues after consultation)
5. Support in the recruitment process
6. Planning and coordination of work steps in the team and monitoring compliance with time and quality specifications
7. Coordination of planning and control of project hours; initiation of measures in the event of deviations and active reporting to superiors if bottlenecks become apparent
8. Checking compliance with ASI regulations in the assigned electrical team
9. Responsibility for the continuous training of employees through targeted training measures and on-the-job coaching
10. Implementation of lean and improvement projects as well as continuous improvement of assembly processes and quality guidelines
Minimum Requirements
1. Completed training as a federally certified electrician
2. Several years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment
3. Familiarity with industry standards (EN60204 & EN61439)
4. Experience in plant construction/control cabinet construction is an advantage
5. Experience in lean management and management with key performance indicators (KPI)
6. Entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
7. Sound knowledge of time recording systems, resource management and team leadership
8. Good communication skills and a confident manner in leading teams
9. Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
10. Business fluent in German; good knowledge of English
