The Role of the Corporate Communications Business Partnering Team
The Corporate Communications Business Partnering (CCBP) Team is part of the Group Communications Organization and actively collaborates with Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to unleash greater impact through communications for Roche.
In this role, you will support the Leaders of CCBP and Strategy and Operations.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of administrative assistant experience and 2+ years of experience supporting senior/executive level leaders.
You should be proficient with Google Workspace and have financial experience for effective tracking of departmental budgets.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Support assigned leaders and teams with advanced administrative and operational activities including scheduling and coordinating meetings and events.
2. Manage the agenda of the leader(s) according to best practice time management principles and coordinate domestic/international travel and conference calls.
3. Coordinate the preparation of department budget, including monitoring expenses against budget, researching and analyzing any discrepancies.
4. Manage intranet and Google Drives and assist with filing and organization of information.
5. Provide support on editing and formatting executive-level presentations.
6. Serve as the 'go-to person' for general operational or administrative inquiries.
7. Support the training and onboarding of new staff in administrative processes, systems, practices, and tools.
Requirements
1. 5+ years of administrative assistant experience.
2. 2+ years of experience supporting senior/executive level leaders.
3. Proficient with Google Workspace.
4. Financial experience for effective tracking of departmental budgets.
5. Strong organizational skills and ability to be extremely flexible while managing conflicting priorities.
6. Demonstrated experience handling confidential and complex issues.
7. Proactive self-starter with excellent judgment who can work independently and anticipate the executive's needs.
8. Demonstrated verbal and communication skills.
9. Ability to be onsite in Basel.
10. Fluent in English.
