Join a dynamic architectural design team in the picturesque Swiss Alps region of Saanen-Gstaad, Bern.
We are seeking an Architect with strong project management and drafting skills to take on various projects, including residential buildings and interior design. Your expertise should encompass project conceptualization, technical design, and execution planning. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
This role involves collaborating closely with our lead project manager and other team members. You will need to work from our office in Saanen-Gstaad at least three days a week, with one to two days working from home as desired.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze building specifications, codes, and sites to create accurate drawings and specifications.
* Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or Revit, incorporating exact measurements, calculations, and construction details.
* Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders throughout the project duration, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
* Participate in design team production, contributing concepts, drawings, models, material selection, space planning, FF&E, lighting, and mood boards.
* Collaborate with architects and construction engineers to ensure compliance with building specifications and industry regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek a dependable individual who can relocate to Saanen-Gstaad and become an integral part of our close-knit family business. The ideal candidate should possess:
* A degree or certification in Architecture with a focus on Residential Constructions & Interior Design.
* Prior experience in architecture in Switzerland, specifically knowledge of SIA regulations.
* Experience in residential, hospitality, or interior design projects, with proficiency in project conceptualization and execution.
* Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and basic knowledge of French or German.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently on small projects while collaborating with the team on larger projects.
