Job Description
The successful candidate will:
* Develop new cell-culture platforms and tissue models mimicking the kidney microenvironment.
* Use these platforms to culture stem-cell-derived renal cells, creating a functional renal tubular unit.
* Characterize the tubular unit to ensure it accurately replicates kidney tissue functions.
* Collaborate closely with engineers and biologists at ETH Zurich and Novartis AG.
* Work in a highly interactive and interdisciplinary field of preclinical testing and drug development.
