Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
* Design activities for all types of embankments, from early-stage design phases to projects under construction.
* Lead dam safety assessments.
* Develop and lead a team of engineers working on embankment design and safety assessment, assuming a leadership role in guiding and mentoring emerging dam engineers through on-the-job training.
* Coordinate senior and international experts involved in specific tasks.
* Participate in the preparation of tender documents for embankments.
* Participate in the preparation of offers for engineering services (business acquisition).
* Short missions abroad to support site activities, attend site meetings, etc.
Qualifications
MSc in Civil Engineering
* Minimum 10/15 years of experience on international projects.
* Master of Science in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnics.
* Experience in conception, design and construction follow-up of embankment dams.
* Good knowledge of International Standards and Guidelines for Dam Design, such as USBR, USACE, FERC and others.
* Experience as EPC Designer is highly appreciated.
* Being an active member in one of the ICOLD working groups on embankments is highly appreciated.
* Good verbal & written communication skills in English is mandatory. French, Italian, or German are a plus.
* Ability and motivation to travel abroad for short assignments.
