Job Description: Data Analytics Engineer - Hadoop, Cloudera, Python vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks: Develop code for end-to-end data pipelines
Loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed design
Support on data-related technical issues and data needs
Your experience/knowledge: Experienced Data Analytics Engineer
Development expertise on using open-source data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Kafka, Impala, ELK, etc., preferably with Cloudera
Strong Python development skills
Expertise in building data ingestion pipelines for data warehouse and/or data lake architecture
Strong experience in data modelling, design patterns, and building highly scalable applications
Language skills: English
Your soft skills: Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
A high degree of self-organisation and time management
Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
Work setting: Hybrid
Start: ASAP or 05/2025
