Job Title: Electrician
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location/onsite requirements: Visp Onsite
Key Responsibilities: General planning of electrical consumers: Determination of requirements and planning of the arrangement of electrical consumption units.
Execution: Preparation of electrical floor plans, detailed electrical schematics, and outgoing circuit lists for the switchboards in the electrical room.
Drives and frequency converter drives: Planning of motor systems and suitable systems for frequency converter drives.
Execution: Preparation of detailed electrical schematics and parameter lists for frequency converters.
Power supply and UPS systems: Planning of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and identifying solutions for suitable backup power systems.
Execution: Preparation of detailed electrical schematics and outgoing circuit lists. The required drawings are integrated into the electrical floor plans.
Lightning protection and equipotential bonding: Design of lightning protection systems and creation of equipotential bonding plans.
Execution: Detailed systems for lightning protection and equipotential bonding are created, and all drawings are integrated into the electrical floor plans.
Requirements for planning: Access to architectural floor plans, electrical requirements, norms and standards, consumption and load data, construction site information, specific client requests, and coordination with other trades.
Education & Experience Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Skills: Previous experience in electrical design and planning for commercial or industrial projects.
Strong communication skills for coordination with other departments and clients.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a project-driven environment.
Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, COMOS, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.
Proficient in English and/or German to competently communicate in our diverse, collaborative environment.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
