Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, the Corporate Strategy team drives high profile, company-wide strategic initiatives that address the top priorities for the company. While our roles are highly visible and demanding, we have a unique opportunity to shape global healthcare trends and work with senior leaders across our businesses to execute our company’s agenda.
About the Role
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Independently drive strategic business projects for Novartis Group, the CEO and the Executive Committee.
* Generate strategic insights based on best-in-class analysis, distill outputs and recommendations which enable informed decisions of top-level leaders.
* Actively contribute to the annual strategic planning process.
* Invest in knowledge / functional spike on behalf of the strategy team.
* Proactively identify trends and opportunities to shape the CEO and ECN agenda.
* Provide insight into Health Care Systems as our core customer.
* Develop a network of functional experts and strategy managers across Novartis.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred (PhD, MBA).
* Proficiency in English required (spoken and written), with proficiency in other languages a plus.
* Significant experience gained in a top-tier consultancy (engagement manager or associate principal level).
* Extensive project and program management experience in strategic projects, ideally in pharma/healthcare with a track record of strong business impact.
* Effective and persuasive communicator with strong presentation, communication (both written and verbal), influencing and negotiation skills.
* Experience in executive level communications.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally, to be determined based on business needs.
