EVENT PRODUCTION MANAGER – EVENT SIGNAGE MANAGER

As an Event Production Manager, you will manage all aspects of event production. Under supervision, you will oversee the preparation of production proposals, statements of work, and client presentations. You will inform project managers about the overall event production budget, workflows, and viable technical solutions, manage and monitor production activities, and adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
This position will have a strong focus on Event Signage Management. You will oversee the design, production, and installation of signage for key events, ensuring consistent and effective visual communication for every participant.
You will manage suppliers and on-site teams by project and report to the Geneva hub’s Head of Production.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS (includes but is not limited to)
* Manage assigned events production process, schedule, budget for technical services, decoration, signage and furniture in concertation with project managers
* Attend cross-functional meetings to offer production leadership, expertise and innovative technical solutions
* Work with project managers in the formulation of clients’ proposal document & presentation
* Carry the necessary research and put together the budgeting of the projects
* Brief and manage suppliers to ensure quality delivery at best negotiated costs
* Ensure that the production of the event is delivered within budget.
* Ensure an accurate technical brief is submitted to the Creative Team for all graphic, multimedia and 3D work output related to the project
* Put together venue signage plans relying on the industry best practices
* Present and defend signage proposals to the clients
* Make recommendations regarding signage guidelines, materials and installations
* Brief all technical, decoration and signage suppliers with floor plans, technical plans and schedules
* Ensure on-site management of the suppliers during set-up, event and dismantle phases.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and security policies, during the preparation phase and on-site
* Adhere to all company and departmental policies and ensure all services standards are compliant with company policies regarding security, confidentiality, sustainability and social responsibility
KEY SKILLS
* Strong attention to details
* Ability to read and understand blueprints, layouts and technical drawings
* Advanced knowledge of printing principles and process
* Clear verbal and written communication
* Team player, with the ability to work and interact with very diverse stakeholders
* Ability to manage suppliers on-site during events
* Capacity to self-organize his/her work to deliver project according to schedule
* Languages: English at least B2 level, C1 appreciated, French and/or German are a plus
* Good command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
