The Personal Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Communications Director to ensure the effective running of UEFA's Communications division.
Key responsibilities
Facilitating the work of the Communications Director, including:
Managing the director’s day-to-day schedule, acting as first point of contact, anticipating priorities and imperatives and managing them accordingly
Handling all travel arrangements, hotel bookings and expenses on behalf of the director and, where required, other members of the division, especially around major events.
Managing administrative activities and support for the director and division, including:
Coordinating the divisional budget and purchase management systems and reporting process, including liaising with the relevant contacts in the Finance Division
Organising mail, gifts, stationery etc. within the office, coordinating office moves and ensuring the smooth running of the office and its projects and services, for example through team work and the exchange of information across the division
Handling ticketing for the division throughout the season, for club competitions and EURO finals.
Handling the administration of the Media Committee, organising divisional meetings and leading the divisional group organising social events for staff
Preparing presentations, reports, minutes and action lists as required
Assuming event-related duties, including:
Acting as the Group Relations Coordinator (GRC) for the Communications Division, including duties such as those relating to ticketing, accreditation, guest and business staff management, travel and hotel management
Assisting at UEFA events as required
Requirements:
Experience:
At least 4 years in an international or multicultural environment
1-3 years in a similar position as a personal assistant to a director
Education:
High school degree or commercial apprenticeship
