The Program Manager will have responsibility and accountability for the development and oversight of cross discipline and cross functional innovation team and projects in a designated area of R&D.
The role will involve developing critical path project timelines, milestones and success criteria with the project lead, managing these activities, monitoring budget spend, risk and issues, delivery of output, reporting and escalation of any deviations from the plan.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Project Leads to develop and manage project scope, budgets and deliverables and understand risks.
2. Maintain accurate live project information and status in consultation with Project Lead and as outcome from regular team meetings, which the Program Managers chairs.
3. Prioritize and manage multiple work packages with overlapping deadlines.
4. Support and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams; keep team members accountable to deliver and informed of any projects linked to their own.
5. Conduct Team Meetings both internal and external as well as with cross functional stakeholders to ensure work is performed according to the Project Plan.
6. Work with Project leads and senior management to secure required resources and capacity commitments and obtain buy-in of all relevant stakeholders.
Key requirements:
7. B.Sc. in the field of Biotechnology is required. PhD. in the field of Biotechnology is preferred.
8. Previous work experience in Project/program Management – ideally in the pharmaceutical or CMO industry.
9. Proven knowledge of technical, commercial and organizational issues that impact project strategy and planning.
10. Able to analyze and solve complex problems that do not have routine solutions.
11. Have great communication- and leadership skills.
12. Fluency in English is required.
