Job Summary: The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of our inbound and outbound marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO's primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing across the organization. This includes leveraging market research, pricing strategies, marketing communications, direct marketing, advertising, and public relations. The CMO will also lead the marketing team, use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and sales.
• Overseeing the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels
• Leveraging digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and SEO, to reach and engage target audiences
• Conducting market research to understand customer needs, identify market opportunities, and competitive landscape
• Driving revenue growth by delivering qualified leads to the Sales department
• Planning, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns to promote our products and drive customer engagement
• Develop and lead a high-performing marketing team.
• Collaborate with the sales and product development teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Managing public relations efforts to enhance the company's reputation and build strong relationships with media and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chief Marketing Officer or similar role in a mid-sized software development company providing complex IT solutions to manufacturing companies of all sizes on an international scale.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• Proven experience in developing effective strategies and business plans for all aspects of marketing (branding, product promotion, lead generation, etc.)
• Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
• Ability to apply marketing techniques across digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
• International experience
• Native English speaker or equivalent
