The CyberPeace Institute protects the most vulnerable in cyberspace. We deliver cybersecurity assistance and hold all actors accountable for ensuring peace in cyberspace by exposing the human harm caused by cyberattacks and disinformation. We advocate against the unacceptable use of artificial intelligence to threaten international peace and security, while promoting the responsible development and use of AI.
Your Mission
You will support the Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer to curate the Institute’s strategy development and growth, stakeholder management and support in scouting and pursuing new funding and partnership opportunities.

Gain hands-on experience in strategy development and partnership curation within the non-profit sector.
Develop skills in donor stewardship, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement.
Enhance your understanding of the non-profit ecosystem and global digital resilience initiatives.
Work alongside experts at the intersection of cybersecurity, international relations, and human rights.
Your Objectives & Contributions
As part of the team, you will:
Assess, qualify, and connect with potential donor prospects and partners.
Draft and adapt concept notes, proposals, and session submissions for funding and stakeholder engagement.
Database & CRM Management:
Maintain and update internal CRM systems and databases with accurate, current information.
Strategic Documentation:
Regularly update and refine key strategic documents, including work plans and reports.
Research & Analysis:
Conduct background research to generate insights on fundraising, strategic engagement in events and with the network of partners, strategic topics and opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Assist in developing collaborations with academia, civil society, public, and private sectors.
Prepare outreach materials and organize meetings/events with stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
Provide clerical and organizational support to ensure smooth operations.
Your Experience, Skills & Attributes
Studies in business administration, economics, marketing, international law, international relations, international development, international human rights, international security studies, cybersecurity, or related field.
Fluency in English and French, spoken and written.
Knowledge in partnership building and curation, including administrative and legal aspects.
Knowledge of creation of concept notes, proposals, and applications for funding and collaborative purposes.
Knowledge of the full Microsoft 365 Package.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, flexible, detailed, and organized.
Commitment to work in NGOs - nonprofit sector.
The following requirements are an asset:
Knowledge of fundraising techniques.
External communication experience, with a focus on social media engagement.
Marketing.
Data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Knowledge of cyber lingo and key cybersecurity concepts.

Additional Information
Mandatory: tripartite internship convention/agreement between the student, the University, and our Institute.
Start date: as soon as possible.

Location: Geneva.
Ideally, full-time at 32 hours per week (Mondays to Thursdays).
