Business Development & Project Manager – eCommerce
We are looking for a Business Development & Project Manager responsible for driving growth and managing key projects across the organisation. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, overseeing project lifecycles, and collaborating with internal teams to boost online sales, user experience, and operational efficiency.

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, the Business Development & Project Manager will define and execute the eCommerce vision, product direction, and web marketing strategy for a best-in-class consumer experience. You will translate data into actionable initiatives to grow the business and take a hands-on, proactive approach to deliver strategies to optimise acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.
* Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and conduct market research to drive sales growth.
* Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee eCommerce projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and on-budget delivery while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
* Strategic Planning and Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of the eCommerce strategy, identify and implement process improvements, and monitor industry trends.
* Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyse eCommerce performance metrics, generate reports, and use data-driven insights to optimise the eCommerce business.
* Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional project teams, collaborate with various departments, and foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Your Profile
* University degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field.
* 3-5 years proven experience in business development, customer insights and project management in an eCommerce environment.
* Understanding of eCommerce market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to drive growth and profitability.
* Knowledge and usage of Project Management & Process Improvement tools and techniques.
* Proficiency in data analysis, business case creation and reporting tools.
* Excellent communication, strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
* High customer focus, data-driven decision making and problem-solving mentality are a must.
* Experience in the travel and hospitality industries a plus.
