Key Responsibilities
1. Define and drive the strategic direction of data science and AI initiatives.
2. Develop AI solutions in areas such as pension advisory, risk assessment, and fraud detection.
3. Lead end-to-end projects, from data exploration to model deployment.
4. Act as a key interface between IT teams, business units, and external partners.
5. Build partnerships with research institutions and industry stakeholders.
6. Coach and mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a strong data culture.
Required Skills & Experience
Educational Background - University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Data Science & Machine Learning Expertise - 3+ years of experience in data science, AI, or ML, ideally in a leadership role.
Technical Proficiency - Strong knowledge of Python or R and machine learning libraries.
Data Management - Experience with databases, data warehouses, and BI tools.
Communication Skills - Ability to translate technical insights into business-friendly narratives.
Industry Experience (Bonus) - Familiarity with social security data or medical records is a plus.
