IT OT Engineer in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (m/f/d)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified IT OT Engineer in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing to join an ongoing virtualization project for a big pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, deliver, operate, and maintain IT and OT systems.
2. Analyze system requirements to create effective IT and OT infrastructure designs in collaboration with global IT infrastructure teams.
3. Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks, enhancing workflow across departments.
4. Collaborate with network and cybersecurity experts to integrate automated solutions seamlessly.
5. Install and verify IT infrastructure for traditional and virtualization environments.
6. Write IT and OT tests for qualification and configuration of the system.
7. Execute thorough testing protocols to qualify and validate IT and OT system functionality.
8. Manage change requests for IT tasks.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing IT and OT setups, providing onsite local support to manufacturing plants.
10. Continuously evaluate and update IT and OT systems for efficiency.
11. Document processes and system configurations following GxP and Computer System Validation requirements.
Requirements
* Master's degree in computer science with certification in automation engineering or related technologies.
* At least 5 years of experience in IT and OT system setup and troubleshooting.
* Experience with virtualization infrastructure.
* Experience as an engineer in traditional control systems.
* Knowledge of technological needs that determine decisions at the production workshop level.
* Proficiency in managing system installation, qualification, and validation.
* Proficiency in test writing and execution.
* At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing IT and OT.
* Proficiency in working in GMP and GxP environments.
* Good experience with network connectivity and cybersecurity (IT and OT subnets).
* Several years of experience with project work.
* Experience with PI (Process Integration) Data Historian.
* Experience with shop floor automation systems.
* Experience with ServiceNOW.
* Experience with eVAL.
* Excellent communication skills in German and English.
* Able to work with cross-functional teams.
* Able to be simultaneously operational and project-oriented.
* Process-oriented and work with high precision.
* Good and flexible team member for project work.
* Able to work with tight deadlines and high expectations.
