Job Description:
Glencore is seeking a Carbon Reporting Specialist to support the company's internal and external GHG emissions reporting needs.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Gaps and Opportunities: Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in capturing emissions data across Glencore's diverse portfolio of industrial assets.
* Data Collection: Support the development and implementation of standardised and coherent processes for emissions data collection, validation and reporting.
* Consistency: Coordinate with industrial and marketing teams to ensure consistency in emissions data reporting and the avoidance of double counting of emissions across the Glencore Group.
* Assurance: Support internal and external assurance processes, including conducting materiality assessments and coordinating industrial asset emissions data evidence collection.
* Reporting Requirements: Ensure compliance with reporting requirements from a globally diversified natural resource company's perspective.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in a science, sustainability, economics, engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Experience: 2-5 years' work experience in an analytical role.
* Skills: Knowledge of the GHG Protocol, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and international sustainability reporting standards and guidance.
* Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
* Citizenship: Swiss citizen, Swiss B/C permit or EU passport holder.
