Perfume Area Sales Manager Export Europe-Africa
Missions and Objectives
We are seeking a talented professional to strengthen our Export Europe & Africa Sales Force, supporting the growth of our Perfume Business Unit in Neuchâtel. You will be responsible for commercial and marketing activities within European and African domestic markets, excluding Affiliates.
In this role, you will work closely with local partners to drive business development, ensuring the highest level of profitability and luxury positioning of Bulgari Perfumes.
Key Accountabilities
You will proactively collaborate with partners to develop strategic and commercial business plans, encompassing sales and marketing, assortment management, forecasts, and A&P budgets. This will ensure the delivery of Bulgari excellence at point of sale.
Monitoring market activities and assessing distribution compliance with Bulgari guidelines is crucial. You will report on sales analysis, marketing plans review, and share best practices to enhance performance and execution.
Leading direct negotiations at retail level, you will support distributors on key projects and new business opportunities.
Your primary objective is to manage your clients and area profit and loss (P&L) to improve operating profit and contribution margin.
You will establish yearly and long-term business plans for your territories, leveraging local specificities and dynamics while aligning with the company's strategy and DNA.
Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributor ownership/management, retail partners, media/PR community, JWA DOS & Franchisee, is essential.
You will foster collaboration with Sales Marketing and Trade Marketing teams and create synergies with Travel Retail channel to ensure efficiency, impact, and brand visibility.
Finally, you will engage and motivate efficient teams around your projects at both corporate and distributors' levels.
Required Profile
With at least 5 years of international sales experience, preferably in the fragrance or luxury industry, you possess confirmed negotiation skills and a proven track-record in sales and business strategic planning and execution.
A Degree in Business studies, Economics, or equivalent education is required. You should have good knowledge of P&L management and profit optimization, as well as proficiency in French and English. Additional languages are an advantage.
Flexible and mobile for ±40% business travel in Europe and Africa, you must be able to communicate, negotiate, influence, and build trust in a multi-cultural environment.
